Welcome to the Cdiscount platform, operated by Cdiscount and its affiliates (collectively, "Cdiscount," "we," or "our"). Cdiscount takes its responsibilities under applicable privacy laws and regulations ("Privacy Law") seriously and is committed to respecting the privacy rights and concerns of all Cdiscount website and mobile application users (collectively, the "Platform"). We collectively refer to the Platform and the services we provide on the Platform as the "Services."
"User" refers to a user who has registered an account to use the Services, including buyers and sellers (collectively, "User," "you," or "your"). We understand the importance of the personal data you entrust to us and consider it our responsibility to properly manage, protect, and process your personal data. 2. When does Cdiscount collect personal data?

When you associate your Cdiscount account with your social media or other external accounts, or use other social media features (subject to applicable provider policies);
When you transact through our services;
When you provide us with feedback or complaints;
When you register for a contest; and/or
When you submit your personal data to us for any reason. The above is not exhaustive and only lists some common situations in which your personal data may be collected.

We may collect personal data about you from you, our affiliates, third parties, and other sources, including but not limited to: business partners (such as logistics or payment service providers), credit agencies or scoring agencies, marketing service providers or partners, referral or loyalty programs, other users of our services, or public or government data sources.

If you provide us with their personal data, you represent and warrant that you have obtained their consent to allow us to process their personal data in accordance with this policy.
3. What personal data will Cdiscount collect?

Cdiscount may collect personal data including, but not limited to:

Information about your network (including a list of contacts when you share permissions on your device, and the people and accounts you interact with);

Marketing and communication data (e.g., preferences for receiving marketing messages, communication preferences, and communication history);
Usage and transaction data (including searches, orders, interactive advertising and content, and other product and service details relevant to you);

Other information we collect when users register for/use the services or platform, and information related to how users use the services or platform;
Data related to aggregated user interaction content.

You agree not to submit any inaccurate or misleading information to us and agree to inform us of any inaccuracies or changes to such information. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to request further documentation from you to verify the information you provide.

If you register as a user of our platform using your social media account (“Social Media Account”), associate your Cdiscount account with your Social Media Account, or use any Cdiscount social media features, we may access information that you voluntarily provide to your Social Media Account provider in accordance with the provider’s policies and will always manage and use any such personal data in accordance with this policy.

If you do not wish us to collect the above information/personal data, you may opt out at any time by notifying our Data Protection Officer in writing. Please see Section 13 for more information.
Please note that opting out or withdrawing consent may affect your use of the Services and Platform. For example, opting out of location information collection may result in the disabling of location-based features.
4. Collection of Other Data
4.1
As with most websites and mobile applications, when you browse our platform, your device sends information that web servers may record. This information typically includes, but is not limited to:
The device's Internet Protocol (IP) address;
Operating system and browser type;
Mobile device type and characteristics;
Unique device identifier (UDID/MEID, etc.);
Referring website address (if any);
Visited pages and access time;
May contain cookies (which you can disable in your browser settings).
If you are logged in, this information will be associated with your personal account. We may also include it in anonymous statistical data to understand how visitors use the website.

Our mobile applications may use technologies such as GPS and Wi-Fi to collect precise location information of your mobile devices for:
Providing you with location-based services you request;
Pushing relevant content to you based on your location;
Allowing you to share your location with other users (if applicable).
Most mobile devices can revoke location permissions through system settings. If you have any questions, please contact your device service provider or manufacturer.
4.3
When you browse pages, view content and advertisements, or access other software on the platform/service, relevant information may be sent to us (including but not limited to IP address, operating system, etc.). Your device typically doesn't send "page views" directly, but rather information such as the content you browse, advertisements, related software, and the time.

6.2
You acknowledge and agree that Cdiscount may access, retain, and disclose your account information and content as required by law, court orders, or government/regulatory requirements, or as we reasonably believe necessary, in order to:
comply with legal process;
comply with regulatory requirements;
enforce the Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy;
respond to claims or infringement assertions;
respond to customer service requests; or
protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Cdiscount, users, and/or the public.
6.3
As the purposes of processing depend on the specific circumstances, not all of the above purposes may be listed. Unless privacy laws permit processing without consent, we will inform you of other purposes when obtaining your consent.
7. How does Cdiscount protect and retain customer information?
7.1
We take multiple security measures to protect your personal data in our systems. User personal data is stored behind a secure network and accessed only by a select few employees with special access privileges. However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
7.2
We will retain personal data in accordance with privacy laws and/or other applicable laws. We will destroy or anonymize your personal data when we reasonably determine that:
Retention is no longer necessary for the purpose of collection;
Retention is no longer required for legal or commercial purposes;
There is no other legitimate interest in continuing to retain it.
Even if you cease using the platform, or your license is terminated or revoked, we may continue to store, use, and/or disclose your personal data in accordance with this policy and our privacy law obligations. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may securely dispose of your personal data without prior notice.
8. Will Cdiscount disclose the information it collects to external parties?

We will endeavor to ensure that these entities take reasonable protective measures and retain data only for the necessary period. This may include, but is not limited to:

Your buyers or sellers on the platform (for transaction-related purposes);
Other users of the platform (for related purposes);
Contractors, agents, and service providers (such as logistics, financial services, advertising and marketing, telecommunications, IT, data centers, etc.);
Jurisdiction over Cdiscount
Laws, regulations, directives, guidelines, policies, or rules (including, but not limited to, laws and requirements related to anti-money laundering or counterterrorism, whether or not legally binding);
Violating or circumventing any sanctions or embargoes imposed or enforced by the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control, the UN Security Council, the EU, or the UK Treasury;
Using the Service to violate the privacy of others, or to "track" or otherwise harass others;
Infringing Cdiscount's rights, including any intellectual property rights and any counterfeiting;
Using the Service to collect or store other users' personal data to engage in the aforementioned prohibited activities;
Listing goods that infringe on third parties' copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights, or using the Service in a manner that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others;
Directly or indirectly encouraging other users to transact outside the website.
